WAEC to release a new WASSCE 2020 examination time table after the COVID-19 pandemic. The examining body has also indicated that it will not give ample time to candidates for preparations.

The council has revealed that it has made available very essential online resources and tutorials for candidates and expects them to make very good use of it.
A new timetable will be announced when the pandemic is over, the council has revealed.
In a statement by the Nigerian Head, WAEC Public Affairs, Mr Damian Ojijeogu, it said “the body will not give candidates time to prepare again once the new timetable is released after the pandemic.”
This means final year students who are to take the 2020 WASSCE exams must up their game and prepare whiles in the lockdown to ensure they do not become rusty.
Students need to pass the WASSCE to get the chance of entering any tertiary institution in any of the five English-speaking West African countries thus Nigeria, Ghana, Sierra Leone, The Gambia, and Liberia.

The WAEC should at least try and come out with the new time table so students prepare adequately before the pandemic is over .

This is the time for 2020 WASSCE candidates to prepare towards their impending examination. Getting “Grade A” to the university is not on a silver platter. This is my little advice to you guys. Thank you!!!
