UPSA 11th Congregation to be held in four sections
The University of Professional Studies, Accra 11th Congregation will be held in four sections at the school’s new ultra-modern auditorium that has a seating capacity of 3500.
This is the first time the school would hold four sections which will all take place indoors.
To ensure the smooth implementation for the new system, the school leadership has put together a blueprint that which consists of the various schools and departments in the university and the dates for their congregation.
Below are the details for students and other stakeholders who would grace the occasion.
First Session
Faculty of Law and Faculty of IT and Communication Studies

Second Session
Faculty of Accounting & Finance
Date: Thursday, 25th July 2019
Time: 9.00 am
Venue: New UPSA Auditorium
Third Session
Faculty of Management Studies
Date: Friday, 26th July 2019
Time: 9.00 am
Venue: New UPSA Auditorium
Fourth Session
School of Graduate Studies
Date: Saturday, 27th July 2019
Time: 9.00 am
Venue: New UPSA Auditorium
This place among other things will help reduce the congestion on campus during congregations and also help reduce the traffic associated with the one-off ceremony that has been practised by the school since degree programmes were started.
UPSA is the fastest growing public university and one the only university in Ghana that can boast of fast-paced development and transformation. Its newest infrastructure that has added glamour to the school typography and landscape is the 3500 seating capacity auditorium which is second to none in Ghana.

The transformational agenda started by Prof Joshua Alabi has been continued by the current vice chancellor Abednego Feehi Okoe Amartey who is leaving no stone unturned in the quest to continue to shape the university into one that can compete with those in the developed countries.
In 2018, the VC was also adjudged the ‘Most Respected CEO’ in the education sector at the first ever Ghana Industry CEO Awards.
