Latest Update on UTAG Strike: PRO of Education Ministry Assures UTAG of Government Resolve towards Addressing their Concerns
Following the court ruling of the UTAG Strike, there has been a couple of reactions from interested parties towards the current situation.
First of which came from Kwasi Kwarteng, Public Relations Officer of the Education Ministry, who assures UTAG of further discussions following Judge Frank Rockson’s ruling on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, to call off the strike.
Next was from UTAG’s Lawyer, Kwesi Keli Delataa, who made it clear that UTAG will only make a decision after the appropriate analysis of the court ruling and its implications by the legal team of the association.

The National Labour Commission’s Executive Secretary, Mr. Ofosu Amponsah, also indicated that the court ruling to call off the strike does not in any way undermine the concerns of UTAG in their negotiations with the government.
