Coronavirus: 25 countries and Over 40,600 people affected globally

25 countries and over 40,600 people affected globally by the Coronavirus since it was detected in China. Figures coming in indicate that the virus is spreading globally.
Global health authorities on Monday 10th February in Beijing indicated that China has recorded 908 deaths and som 40,171 confirmed. Hong Kong and Macao have also recorded 36 and 10 cases respectively. However, one death has been reported in Macao.

According to Global health authorities, the most hit place in China is the central Hubei province, the first place the virus was detected in December 2019.

No African country has reported the case of Coronavirus as Africa puts in place measures to deal with any such eventualities given the fragile health systems in most parts of Africa. The 25 countries and over 40,600 people affected globally is expected to rise if the virus is not put under control sooner.
