MTN Ghana gives hampers to 25 babies born during Christmas at Cape Coast Hospital.

MTN Ghana brought Christmas joy to the maternity ward at Cape Coast Teaching Hospital and also extended love and support to the 25 babies born on Christmas Day, December 25, 2025. they gave out donated hampers to the mothers of the babies as part of the 2025 Christmas celebration.
This gesture by MTN Ghana as part of the corporate social responsibility brought smiles on the faces of the mothers. Each hamper had important baby items every new mother needs and these are diapers, baby powder, pomade, bathing soap, towels and other thingd for new born babies. Regina Arkaifie, the Central and Western regional manager who is in charge of human resources at MTN, said the initiative was inspired by the desire of the company to share joy while making a meaningful social impact, especially in the health sector.
Regina Arkaifie stated that “Christmas is a season of love, hope and giving, and as a company that is deeply rooted in the communities we serve, MTN Ghana believed it was important to extend that love to mothers and babies who share this special day with the nation.” Regina Arkaifie said this kind of donation was part of the yearly Christmas visit so that they can show that they still care about giving back to community, compassionate service and national development.
Veronica Koomson, who is also the Deputy Nursing Officer at CCTH, showed gratitude to MTN Ghana. As a result she noted that some mothers came to the hospital for delivery without basic items.
Vida Obosu, who gave birth to a baby girl, said this kind gesture is a “Christmas blessing,” while Salamatu Nuhu, also a mother to a baby girl, said the said the items would really help make the first days of caring for the baby easier.
