Castro’s Father Speaks After 10 Years of His Son’s Disappearance
In an interview on Empire FM’s Showbiz, Father of Popularly Known Ghanaian Hip-life Artiste Castro Under fire, Mr. Coffie Eshun, has expressed him optimism that his son would one day return home.
Castro disappeared a decade ago mysteriously.
Speaking with Empire FM Showbiz’s host, Mr. Feeling Daddy, on Saturday, July 7, Mr. Coffie clearly shared his never ending faith. “With my faith, I believe he could be found,” he stated, indicating that he has not accepted that his son would die or is dead at wherever he is currently.
The father of Castro also drew attention to the chances and possibilities of foul play in his Son’s case, suggesting that there might be more to Castro’s disappearance than Ghanaians initially perceived.

Castro Under Fire, whose birth name is Theophilus Tagoe, vanished along side with Janet Bandu, his then girlfriend, at the Ada Estuary while on a holiday trip with Ghanaian footballer and Businessman Asamoah Gyan and other friends.
Castro’s disappearance incident occurred on 6th July 2024, and despite the recovery of the jet ski involved in the accident on the same day, extensive police searches have failed to locate their bodies.
Castro’s father interview with Mr. Feeling Daddy of Empire FM has sparked convos and emotions surrounding the case, highlighting the enduring impact on Castro’s family and fans.
Mr. Coffie’s steadfast hope and call for further investigation serve as a touching reminder of the unresolved nature of this tragic incident.
